Default Bmw e39

This thread is for BMW's fourth generation 5 series sedans and wagons, including the M5. I've had two E34s in the past and I quickly became a fan. Now my daily driver is a 2000 540i and I've been spending some time and money in slowly replacing worn out pieces with new, OEM components. I'm looking forward to minor modifications to include aftermarket shocks, lowering springs, larger OEM wheels, and summer tires. I would like to keep the car as comfortable as possible, so no loud exhausts or extreme drops are in the horizon. This is my grocery-getter and autobahn cruiser. If you have one, had one, or would like to own one, feel free to post pictures and popular aftermarket modifications.
