I'll say that I'm not a fan of the refresh from the pics alone but, I would still like to make a final determination in person. I say this because there is not one GTR out there that is photogenic. they all look like **** in pictures but with the right color and mods, in person are totally different animals.
Edit: eat a bag of rotten dicks kay.zee. if you got Unknown that bent out of shape you are a special kind of potato. |

I think the interior will update one more time by looking more sculpted than this update and some new gimmick to the screen, but this is probably what the interior will look like. Expect only or two model years of the GT-R R35 Also expect a shorter length, 100 to 200lbs lighter. Lower slung GT-R |
Maybe it's just me, but I've never noticed how relatively small the block is. 565 HP out of that is pretty darn impressive!

Ten things you need to know about the new Nissan GT-R | Top Gear
“One of the things we’ll change for the next generation is the height. Compared with other supercars, the R35’s frontal area is rather big. To me, the next generation – if I design it – definitely has to go low. That is mandatory. We cannot sustain the height from an aerodynamics and efficiency point of view.” And anyone who has looked under, or into the engine bay, of a GT-R can sympathise with how well Nissan has worked at fitting all of its incredible gubbins in. But given more technology is set for the new car, it’s now an even greater challenge. “The new car is taking time as there’s even more to package,” Nakamura said. “A full carbon [monocoque] is not realistic for this kind of production car and we have issues with the size of the battery and where to put it. That is a big challenge.” |

DAYTONA BLUE IS BACK!!!
https://youtu.be/BmTcmz6lh00 I really didn't get the dual mode exhaust. I couldn't tell much difference. If I got one... I got one word for the exhaust. MEISTERSCHAFT! |

Mesitercraft blows. I agree with you 90% of the time on everything. No this time lol |

I think it sounds good. It sounds stock but deeper n much louder. You can go armytrix. That's hot too. |
They are both over priced and neither sound good. At all.

personally, I would go with 4" titanium race exhaust w/o mufflers from ETS. I'm not right in the head as you can see with my Z exhaust choices lol its $5k. |

Gthaus has a titanium exhaust. That's the one I would do. They sound better. |

I believe Nissan GTR pricing has gone out of control. The GTR is about $13,000 more than it should cost. I don't foresee a next gen GT-R in the states if prices keep climbing? Is there issues with the yen again or what?

You still get a lot of performance for the money. |

They'll sell well if real world pricing remains $100,000 or less. Very rare can Nissan sell a GTE close to MSRP. Yes you get a lot of performance for the money, but that segment is getting competitive. The corvette can rival the GTR. The hellcat offers a lot of power for the price. The F-type R just looks amazing. And the AMG GT offers an amazing visceral driving experience. If I were Nissan. I'd keep the titanium exhaust an option and lower the price by at least $9,000. |

I'm not sure his acceleration time review on the gtr holds any weight. Track times are dependent on certain factors. The road, tires, climate, the driver himself.... The GTR has evolved well in terms of performance. If Ferrari's got faster? They should. They cost $385,000+ Nissan decimates everything within a $100,000 of it. That's awesome. |
Here's a Lil vid of the 2017 GT-R being built. Pretty kool. The Japanese are a very focused and dedicated people. You see it in the production aspect of this vehicle

2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO: Pricing announced at U.S. debut - Nissan Online Newsroom
$175,000 GT-R Nismo. Wow. I really don't see the value in a car that increased $25,000 over 2 years, with nothing but an upgraded interior and a few suspension and rigidity tweaked. It's still the same 10 year old design!!! I don't know what Nissan is thinking. But you can order a Porsche 911 GT-3RS and wait several months for it. Then turn around and sell it at $100K premium. Nobody would even consider that for a GTR. Price needs to stay at $150,000 |
Blame the high price on our monetary policy. US$ had depreciated 20% against the Yen since 2009 due to QE1 to QE4.

The mid cycle refresh addressed a non existent issue.. The Z at minimum should be 350HP on the regular Z n 370HP on the Nismo at this point. Transmission gearing should have been more aggressive even on Non Nismo automatics. Materials should have been updated on the interior. Instead they went back to 09 pricing, effed up everyone's residual value. Focused on the Nismo only and jacked the price up too high by $3,000. Nissan wants to cost the same as its competitors by giving the lowest possible updates then putting the price comparable to a Porsche.... smh. Fuckattaheuh!! |
While waiting at a Freightliner garage to get my motorhome worked on today. (I don't have tools that big) I was reading, I think R&T. It had an article in it that make me take notice. In the article, it stated that the Japanese do not know who their car buyer are. They are clueless. All they see is CUV's.
