1600 miles after traded in my Z
Dear all,
It's been a while since I traded in my Z, and hope you all are doing well. This is the first place got me started with modding cars and I learned a lot from everyone here. I think the Z is a nice car, very strong built NA engine and the shifts are nice; but after 2 1/2 years of ownership, it is hard for me to give compliment on the quality of the car. Especially the extremely low tech involved, and all the noise in the cabin (even after I put 20 lbs of dynamat in the trunk). So here comes my new toy: 2016 M235i. Been tracking my traded in Z and I think it was sold for 28k+, I traded it in for 25k. originally debated RC350F and M235i, but the lexus is just SO slow, to the extend that I felt like it was slower than my altima prior to the Z. Overall? I'm quite satisfied with this car and moddings are so easy with turbo cars. It's been a blast to drive this. Haven't done any dyno but I think my car is making around 380-400CHP. I'll still be around though.

I wonder if one day you become a nascar driver or you just gonna remain "a normal guy" as me and also Z is a "sports car", not in any aspect a "race car" if you can tell the difference between them. But I'm seriously hoping you don't think you drive a "race car" when you pop in the Z otherwise you are endangering everybody else on the road.

Enjoy the M235i. Be careful... there is lots of bimmer hate on this forum.

Anyway, the bimmer is easily enjoyable though, especially all the plug and play stuff.

That's why I didn't post a rear photo lol other than I'm too lazy to block the license plate. But actually bimmer has 4 year free maintenance so won't know this until 4 years later. I do love Z's wider look and definitely true in terms of handling precision. Price wise it's actually not much more expensive (5k more than I paid for the Z).

All bimmers front look the same with those kidney grills..the z front is unique where as the 2series looks so generic boring coupe based sedan. The z on the other hand is sexy from all angles especially with his stillen front and that sexy magma red color

Well I think we debated enough about looks. Also, if yall thinking about getting Stillen bumper, IT DOESN'T FIT WELL. FYI, there will be huge gaps under headlights and the bumper extension just doesn't seem flow.

Nice car the bmw. The Z is a raw sports car. Enjoy the bimmer.
