I don't agree with that at all. I like the E92/E90 a lot. They are small, tight, and offer great feedback to the driver. They are different from the E46, sure, but they still drive "like a BMW."

The F series cars picked up more luxury and lost some of that traditional "BMW feel," which I hope comes back (I see promise in certain models).

That's the fun in it, though. You could say the same thing about the E46 vs the E30. There's tons of debate within BMW circles as to which is the "greatest" generation. Everyone has a different answer.

I do like that Mercedes has stepped up their game in the sport/handling department. They were lacking in that area for a long time but some of their recent offerings are great performers, whether I'm attracted to them or not.

Jaguar is similar... they are in the middle of reinventing themselves to the point where they are starting to be relevant again. The XE and F Pace are going to be big for them, I believe. The Tata group has definitely taken them in the right direction.

The e92 gives a well dampened ride, but the suspension tuning is way sportier on the e46... Feels like a BMW... I can agree with that... But, I can't agree that it offers the same road feel. Not in the least. It feels connected to the road, yes. But the e46 makes better sounds, sits a little lower, feels a little more nimble... I prefer it. The only advantage the e92 has is a noticeable power bump and an updated interior.

The Benz C400... Wow... Electronic steering that gives you feedback. And it's not artificial. However slightly muted. The Benz is well weighted. It's more ergonomically correct with seat adjusters on the door. The sounds are slightly better on the Benz. The 450AMG sport is supposed to have killer exhaust tuning. I think the new Benz compared to the e92 is leagues better. I gotta try the 4 series but with all I've heard. It seems the only fans of its performance and tuning are people who swear by bimmer. Me as an enthusiast... I'm always looking for more... The Benz won me over... The jag will be here soon but all reviews are crazy... The Giulia... A Ferrari tuned, turbo 6... Need I say more???

Bimmer... Hasn't impressed me over the last 9 years. Sorry... And it seems there are a lot of excuses for it's shortcomings. The price is high for what it lacks... Lackluster steering and handling gaps on track in comparison to the ATS-V and c63amg.

Like I said before. Bimmer isn't a bad car. Just highly overrated and I think other cars are eclipsing. Let the M4 drop in price about $10,000 and mayyyybe... I'd see it as a tougher competitor Buying brand new... Not where I'd be looking to drop $82,000.

When Giulia comes... Watch out.
