This will be an unpopular statement, but I totally agree with you especially about the M3, M5 and M6 Grand Coupe (it's a f**king sedan). If you have 4 doors, what is the point about souping up a practical means of conveyance. When I have passengers in the car, I want to get them there as safely as possible in a comfortable manner. Plus people weight a lot. Now I suppose if I lived in Germany and I drove the autobahn I would have a different opinion.

The M2 is different in that there is no sedan version of the model, meaning it is a pure sports coupe, and for me that makes it slightly more practical than my Z, plus it has a lot more zip than the 2-series. It looks cool too. This puts me in their target market (provided that they offer it in XDrive).
