The M4 never appealed to me, but for whatever reason I'm really liking the M2. It's proportions and styling are just right. It's been awhile since BMW has really had my attention. The last M car I cared for was the E46 M3

The M2 just made my list.

I don't trust magazines with Bimmerphile corporate drones. MT has been one of the least biased reviewers in the mainstream magazine sector. Especially when it reviews the boys in Bavaria... So I trust when they give a thumbs up to a BMW review.

Somehow I missed the M2 in this... but that vette looked insane. That GT-R was broken n I gotta show love to those Mustang's. They looked n sounded sick.

Porsche repped hard, so did Ferrari. Nice cars n coffee.

im still mad that the one guy only brought out his 650 mclaren and left the P1 at home. weather was perfect.

usually theres much more lambo love from the channel owner sicne he has an aventador and a huracan lol

there was probably 500+ cars there this past weeknd which may be the record so far. it's been growning at an insane rate lately

I've been looking at this one for the wife
She test drove one and really liked it

FPenvy 04-19-2016 03:24 PM

welp the M2 has TQ stock but the HP numbers arent great lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PrVU55OOGw

i think something is wrong here.....

290whp/350wtq on a dynodynamic dyno

i dont think that the car would lose 22% through a 6MT

even something like my 7AT in the Z is only around 17-20% loss

He said the probability of the gas having too little octane is the culprit.

Unlike the M4, this sounds good. I can only imagine what a properly tuned aftermarket exhaust would sound like.

I just wish it looked just a little more exotic. A little more distinct. But it's a handsome vehicle, none the least.

Offer it in xDrive and I might be a potentia buyer, but until then I will be eyeballing an Audi or (shudder) VW :shakes head:

An X-drive M car? That would like kill M heritage driving dynamics. So why the must have AWD in your sports application?

yea I was a bit confused when I just read the sentence "AWD M....."

:rofl2:

I been watching different reviews. Some say it has ZERO FEEDBACK, others say steering is sublime. Some say it' sounds artificial, while others say it sounds better than a m4.

If I go this route? I'm getting an aftermarket exhaust n the worlds loudest BOV's. So I'll solve that issue. But I really hate numb steering. Smh.

I could really give a s**t about BMW's "M heritage" since they have sullied it with all their recent offerings (an "M" SUV!). I just want a performance winter car which seems Audi, VW, Ford and Subaru seem capable to offer, whereas BMW are apparently falling behind Chevy in RWD performance. I have my Z for my sports application thank you very much.
