Mazda finally unveiling sports coupe in Tokyo Auto Show!
This is very exciting news, finally a concept what could be the next RX rotary sports car. From this picture it looks promising and has reminiscent lines of the classic FD and also similar to the Mercedes GTS which is a great thing. Rotary heads rejoice:happydance:

Yea that RX-HATE was awesome despite the complete lack of TQ, HP, fuel consumption, fuel flooding, cold shutdown and shotty internals. LOL. However, options and competition are a good thing.
EDIT: I just clicked on the link...looks like an 86. |
Great

Sorry for that comment just got offended by the negative rotary comments. The RX7 was the best car I had owned yes it was unreliable but the attachment I had with the car was amazing. The day I sold her was one of the saddest day of my life, hearing this news makes me happy. If Mazda does it right I may turn to the dark side:)

Feelings. Feelings everywhere.
The RX-8 was absolutely not an RX-7. Let's just get that out of the way. And yes, the RX-8, despite having a remarkably awesome chassis and weight distribution (and therefore pretty damn good handling), sucked pretty badly as a whole in the grand scheme of things. It didn't do a whole lot of anything very well. |

Mazda hit a home run with the beautiful 2016 mx5 I have faith in Mazda that the RX7 or RX9 will do the same.

Just read last week about Mazda and the rotary. The rotary is in development still. They are having problems with the emissions for 2018 and later. But the article also said that we might see the motor in 2018. Wait and see.
I like concepts but hate them too. They grap your interest, then leave you wanting more when they don't show up at the dealership. |

A quart of oil with every fill up? YES Mechanical issues every few months when modified? YES An affordable Ferrari of the time? YES Better drive than the Z32? ABSOLUTELY |
Will it have a 26B engine?
