Drove the F car over the weekend...

Unbelievably fast while at the same time terrifying to drive - not only because it wasn't my car, but also because people in Houston drive like a**holes (not to mention the highways normally have potholes).

The car sits super low, the interior is confusing if you have never driven an F-car before. It has a parking brake, and the gears are selected via shift-levers. There is an "auto" button but I did not use it.

In the short span I drove it...it approached triple digit speeds in the same time it takes our cars to reach 60...

Just sayin' - if you get a chance, don't ever let it go!

Sounds like fun :driving:

Did you rent it or borrow a friend's?

My brother had it as his wedding car - he was too scared to push it all the way...so I did the honors :rofl2:

It is frightening to know you are driving a car that is more than most people's homes.

Yea it's sick. I drove my doctor friends 458 once. I was scared sh@tless. And his NISMO GTR, and his Vanquish, GT3 RS, and 2015 ZO6...I shoulda been a doctor.

Sexy car. Must attract a lot of attention (both good and bad?)

Most definitely - when my brother was driving, people were breaking their necks to take a look, it was quite hilarious :icon17:

I drove a friend's 991 Porsche 911 Turbo and that thing was deceivingly fast. It wasn't loud and didn't have a bone-jarring ride either. To be honest, I sort of expected more. Then again, I only drove it around some German country road behind a small town called Wolfsfeld. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to drive a Ferrari.
