TOKYO AUTO: Nissan CEO:Mulling Launch Of 4 Elec Car Models
 

<story> CHIBA, Japan (Dow Jones)--Nissan Motor Co. (7201.TO) President and Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn said Wednesday the company is considering launching four electric car models.

The company said earlier it would launch three electric models, including the Leaf electric car to be rolled out next year in the U.S., Japan and Europe.

Ghosn said at the Tokyo Motor Show that the fourth zero-emission model being considered will be based on the LandGlider two-seater, motorcycle-like concept model being displayed at the auto show, which opened to the media Wednesday.

The CEO said the other two models are a small commercial electric vehicle and a compact luxury four-seater electric car to be sold under the upscale Infiniti brand.
