Your probably right. I'll have to catch up to him next time and start a convo. I just looked up the 45th and this is the rendition that appeared, much lighter. 2016 Nissan GT-R gets 45th Anniversary Gold Edition

The 45th anniversary gold is similar to the color you would find on a late 90s Honda Accord.
