Default 2001 sentra or 2002 corolla

Looking to buy a used car. 2001 Nissan sentra gxe with 145,336 miles for 4k.

Or 2002 corolla with 126k miles for 6k.
Which has a better track record?

I'm leaning toward the Nissan cause it has a manual transmission. It has a little more features than the Toyota.

Corolla all day if you want reliable. I get more sentras in my repair shop at that mileage that are utter garbage than I get corollas thats for damn sure. But thats just a generalization, best to have a mechanic check them out first. We can see things the ordinary person can't, no matter how mechanically inclined they think they are. Its worth the inspection fee, and if the person selling the car refuses, its likely because they know its garbage, so then there is your answer.
