If it's all-wheel-drive this could be my next car that's not a Z that I end up selling in a couple of months because it's not a Z.

kenchan 04-01-2015 07:05 PM

about time honda brings something sporty.

wish it was more like a s2000 where an adult could also drive it and not look silly..

UNKNOWN_370 04-01-2015 07:05 PM

looks like it'll be a fun grocery getter... nice.

It will most likely still be FWD but with the advanced LSD

Yeah, they said they were bringing some mid-engine turbo sports car soon, and it was supposed to be cheap, and then there's the NSX, but they also mentioned a car in between those options which was also to be mid-engine and turbocharged RWD.

I'll believe it when I see it, especially the "where an adult could also drive it and not look silly" because where they've gone with the Civic Si is strictly kiddie stuff.

kenchan 04-01-2015 07:22 PM

unknown- hell, the civic-r will dust you going straight cause you mis-shift AT cars. lol :rofl2:

It's going to be awhile before this car is available BTW, speculation is at least 2 years from now

When you say "this car" are you referring to the mid-price mid-engine RWD car? I assume so. I knew the "S2000 successor" was a ways out still but I was hoping for 2 years. :(

My Z will soon be no more... And whatever I replace it with? i'll be able to buy 3 civics.... smh But ummm... Claims like those are exactly that... claims. I'll believe when it's in production and reviewed or I test drive or face one. I've faced cars that are supposed to demolish Z's n it didn't happen soo? :ugh2:

Holy crap... Well I thought the Type R was just about ready to go, no idea it was 2+ years out. :icon17:

As far as holding my breath, I usually don't pay any attention until the car is supposed to be available at dealer soon... And then I wait 6 months to a year anyway, to see if there are any issues that need to be cleared up.

UK magazines are getting their hands on the UK-spec CTR, looks promising:
