The Subaru BRZ STI Performance Concept Nears Perfection Without A Turbo

No turbo, only a concept, and built for the auto show.

What if it really will have a turbo, and the non-turbo version is just an April Fools joke?

You don't have to imagine it... Just trade one or two of your Fit Fleet in for a BRZ today!

So from the article, how does it help to "Show the North American market what STI is", when there are no plans to ever put it in production, and it's a racing engine producing "450 hp" (but stated at 345) that I would guess wouldn't meet American emissions standards, while several of the other companies Subaru's competing with in the North American market have current production cars that already are equal to or better, and legal on the American market?

Waste of advertising imo :gtfo2:

Yeah, it's like saying.. "Hey, buy our car today because one of these years.... we might actually give you want you want?:wtf2:
Here I thought this car was going into production. Major let down. I'm not even sure what meaning the FR-S/BRZ cars have in the market. After years of marketing hype and corporate review worship for something that can't beat the worst civic si ever made on a track.
