The 350Z is gone but the 370Z is still alive and well.

Ok Paul, so which one is faster? Unless it is too early to say.

Rafael

Rafael, the Z is a second faster from 0-60. The wife will be driving this car.

It has a power tilt and telescopic steering column so it can be adjusted to way you wanted. The gauge cluster is a dynamic gauge using LCD display, coming off from the LFA design. It's very cool.

I handily walked away in my Genesis from my friends 2014 IS350 F Sport...not a fan of the interior either. Its almost as comfortable as my car, handles almost as well, tech is almost as decent. Its dash is sweet though.

zero 03-17-2015 12:14 PM

Here is the RC next to my Z.

Thanks. It's the wife's ride. She finally gave up her 2003 350Z for this. It's a RWD.

The cluster and the visual elements of their guages is engaging and quite entertaining. An exhaust, intake, and tune will give the z a run for its money. Congratulations Paul.

Kenchan that's dangerous! You would pretty much be turning left the whole time.

Can these be tuned yet? I've been keeping an eye out since my fiance has a IS350 FSport and it could use some more noise and power, but I thought no one had managed to crack the ecu.

MagmaRed370z 03-24-2015 02:14 PM

So is this the same thing as an RC-F with a smaller engine or is the whole car smaller?

Same car minus the V8 and some tech stuff (e-diff, etc.).

zmanelite 03-30-2015 01:41 PM

Nice car !
I test drove the RCF <-- Autocross and F sport <--- Track
I really wanted to like the F sport as I love the style and wanted to grab one , after the test drive I decided to keep the Z

Good cars and kick a$$ interiors , I think the weight and transmission kills them

Did test drive in Sport or Sport Plus setting? Yes it's about 470 lbs heavier than the Z.

Yeah we did the RC 350 in sport and the F sport in sport + and we even removed the traction control for a lap

They had a M4 as a comparison and when i drove the M4 you could feel the weight difference , torque and the DCT
I think the most notable difference was the transmission , if the RCF had a DCT it would bring that car closer to the BMW

Am I wrong. I thought sard cracked it.

JC-Nismo 03-31-2015 12:18 AM

Congrats, what's the power in the 350, I typically don't look beyond the RC-F, but that thing is pretty sweet.

Looks like only the JDM one, not the USDM one. Which is a shame, since they claimed substantial gains. Vivid here in the US claims to be able to do it, but they'd claim anything to sell you a turd.

It's a shame, since it could use a little more go. It's not a slow car by any means. That 8 speed gearbox does a pretty good job keeping you in the meat of the powerband and it's great at freeway speeds. It just needs some more pep off the line.

Eh, it's a Lexus, not a Lotus. You buy it for the comfort. Bonus points if it looks good, handles fairly well and gets out of its own way. It doesn't feel that heavy in non-track / AutoX settings.

Exactly. I just found the way to remote start the engine using the key fob .
