2016 maxima
Anyone notice the next generation maxima in the Nissan superbowl commercial?
Yup. Not sure what to think yet. I own a '14 Sv sport max loaded out. Classic lines among vehicles in its class. The new one makes me think of Murano in the shape of a car.

All-New 2016 Nissan Maxima Appears in Super Bowl Ad
Does look kinda like the Mazda 6 Lol Nissan should of stayed with the 2013 concept design. |

Lot of Q in there, IMO |
Everything from the doorhandles down looks great, the door handles up... yuck.
Everything seems too... high. idk. It looks like a midget crossover.
No surprises from Nissan, it looks like a poor mans q50/q60...more aggressive lines and less sexy. I loved my 2010 fully loaded Maxima, lets see where they price this and more specs..
Looks great. This thing will be a total dud if they do another uninspiring VQ-CVT combination. It HAS to be better than a top-of-the-line Altima. Even if it's just a conventional torque converter automatic transmission, that still counts as better.
Between the FWD and the CVT it felt nothing like a 4DSC. Hopefully they are a little more creative this time around
Maybe I'm not the target but it looks like a very awkward design
I would rather have an Accord Sport or a TLX |

Holy **** that thing is fugly!

Nissan designers are failing hard on these new refresh. The Focus ST-Nismo was pretty bad, now this?:barf:
Makes you wonder if the new Z is going to be a "Fugly" as this new Max as either one are high volume and not bread winners for them. The Max has just lost its way from the sporty sedan it was alongside the Z to a Avalon battling land barge looking thing like this!
don't like it... something's off with it... it's almost like the top doesn't go with the bottom... idk... ehhh
