The interior is very nice, 8 of 10 I would say, Exterior is very nice as well. Some of the coating on the wheels is peeling and does need to be taken care of in the future, all 4 wheels can be repaired for whatever you would like for $500 and can be custom colored if you don’t want it all chrome. Power steering works perfectly. All power windows, locks and mirrors work just fine. I don’t know what else I may be missing other the this car will be missed, it runs great, sounds amazing and turns heads like crazy.

ASKING 24,500 but open to offers I DO NOT NEED TO SELL SO PLEASE DO NOT SEND CRAZY LOW BALL OFFERS, THANKS FOR LOOKING

THE NEEDS TO BE FIXED (or not)
Driver Door pocket lid, I have the lid but the little tab that holds it is broken, I may fix this with a tiny screw.
Missing Speaker Grills for the speakers behind the seats. There was a roll bar in the car and that was part of the mounting points.
No Front Door Speakers, The MDF spacers were bad and I have not gotten new spacers for speakers, there are tweeters in the door panels and 6x9’s on the rear package tray cover.
The windshield and hatch glass molding need to be replaced
Stock Antenna removed and there is still painted tape there from when the car was painted because I don’t know what I want to do with it, I didn’t want to weld and seal it up in case someone else wants the antenna there
Rear Wiper also removed and the hole is covered from the inside with dynomat backing for the same reason as the antenna
99 Spec front lip fell off on one side and scraped on the hwy beyond repair so I cut both sides at an angle to match so it wouldn’t look so bad
Driver side door sill panel missing, im looking for a used one currently

what would be the advantages of this be over a newer corvette that one could buy for $24k?

Bragging rights of owning a very rare care.

ZMan8 03-28-2012 08:05 PM

Nice car btw op! I always loved the way 90s RX-7s looked

Jasonle 03-28-2012 08:15 PM

One of my favorites. GLWS man

gofaster87 03-28-2012 08:17 PM

3rd gen rx7s are one of the sexiest looking cars made.

Alchemy 03-28-2012 08:54 PM

GLWS man, awesome ride! I would LOVE to punch the gas in that baby:yum:

TerribleONE 03-28-2012 09:13 PM

KaienZ34 03-28-2012 09:37 PM

Baby viper right here....They have a few of these LS, RX-7 swaps in town...I've always loved them hot hot hot!!

Boost_lee 03-28-2012 11:52 PM

Very nice! GLWS

Btw, is your LS1 iron block or aluminum?

kevin8086 03-29-2012 08:29 AM

thanks everyone, its an all aluminum motor, light weight and really moves. advantage over a vette is that you arent a vette like every other car at a light. very rare car and even more rare with a V8. the RX7 is lighter and handles better and turns more heads then your normal 24k vette. a vette for 24 k is going to have some miles on it. this motor and build is all bran spankin new.

KaienZ34 03-29-2012 08:56 AM

I've seen quite a few of these over the last ten years. This is one of the better looking ones i've seen. If i had the extra $$ i'd be all over it.

kevin8086 04-01-2012 09:37 PM

I could do 18k plus trade

370ZilverZ 04-01-2012 09:49 PM

Nice ride GLWS

kevin8086 04-03-2012 09:09 PM

Any trade offers

ccdominic 04-04-2012 01:11 AM

U lookin for a z?

kevin8086 04-04-2012 08:26 AM

yeah, im looking for a 350Z plush cash,a 370 will be too much. im looking for a cheap Z thats been wrecked or has a bad motor. im not looking for anything nice since im going to be messing it up probably. i could also do a trade plus cash for just about anything worth 8-10k. if you have a car for 8-10k and come up with the 14-16k for the diff that would work as well

ccdominic 04-04-2012 09:11 AM

are you insinuating that you beat up the rx7? lol

m4a1mustang 04-04-2012 09:13 AM

Nice! GLWS.

kevin8086 04-05-2012 10:50 AM

I'd like to drift the rx7 but I just can't bring myself to mess it up or take the chance. U have not had the pleasure of tracking or drifting this car yet. I just finally got all the bugs and kinks worked out and is now reliable and fast and we lknow if u have those 2 things it wasn't cheap

kevin8086 04-05-2012 10:51 AM

You only get to pick 2 of the 3. Fast reliable cheap

kevin8086 04-06-2012 09:05 PM

Have someone coming to look sat. Will update tom

kevin8086 04-10-2012 06:44 PM

Sale pending!!!

DIGItonium 04-10-2012 09:50 PM

Sweet car. I showed it to one of my friends who used to have an RX-7. He gave up in the middle of planning and LS1 swap and sold the car. He drooled over it, but is getting married in a few months. :/

kevin8086 04-14-2012 07:36 AM

Sold!!!

How did they handle the weight distribution? I know its a 50/50 bias with the 13b in the car. I know I can lift the 13b with one hand fully loaded. I know I can't with an LS motor and that it has much more weight.

The stock TT can make 350 whp with simple bolts ons intake and exhaust. A turbo upgrade will net over 500 whp without much more. Plus you get a 9k rpm limit and the excellent gearing from the trans.

Caring for the rotary 13b is hard, but it is so easy to rebuild and upgrade.

I can only see this mod as lowering the value of the car unless it is going to be used for one purpose racing in a straight line.

I should not even respond to this. But I will you sir are a fu$@ing :gtfo2:moron.

ccdominic 04-15-2012 01:27 PM

i've never seen an argument for unreliable power lol. to each his own i suppose.

kevin8086 04-15-2012 02:36 PM

Yeah and 30lbs with a 1% shift in weight makes the car a straight line only car. What an idiot

Brazilbro 04-15-2012 06:44 PM

:wtf2:

Different strokes I guess. I'm not a fan of pushrod power but they do make big power on the cheap and has one thing the 13b doesn't have and that is torque. Theres a rx7 here in Indy with a LS1 with a big single turbo that is pretty sick.
