It's a sad day and age when a man needs permission to spend HIS money on what HE wants to own. I'm a big believer in keeping finances separate when entering marriage, and just having a joint checking for day to day purchases that both Husband and Wife contribute a percentage of their check into. If only the husband is working, he should only have to put a percentage of his check into the joint account, the rest should go into his own pocket. Working at the bank the amount of guys I've seen get totally fvcked over by lazy useless wives while the guys are busting their balls every day is incredible. GLWS
