1983 Harley Davidson Electra Glide FLHT

Black, 5-speed, tour pack, backrest, 18,000 original miles, even has the original oil-bath enclosed chain, newer HD tires, valves redone for unleaded fuel, original carb rebuilt because bike sat for years. Currently fitted with a short windscreen but the original will be included. Crash bar, wind deflectors, and other parts are included. My father purchased in Wisconsin in 1986 and rode it twice to Sturgis. This bike was passed to me 10 years ago and it has since seen very little use.

Pros: Very good to excellent condition with few cosmetic issues, very strong shovelhead motor, rapidly hits 80mph.

Cons: Slight valve chatter, local HD mechanic says common shovelhead issue, gear foot shifter does not automatically return to center after shifting (may be caused by me removing the rear lever) it’s just something to get used to.
