Trade me your Z for my Trans Am!
Been toying with the idea of getting rid of my baby and always liked the 370Zs. Thought I’d post up here and see if anybody would be interested in a trade.
The car is a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am with a little over 70,000 miles. Has a 5.7 LS1 and an automatic transmission. I’ve owned the car for nearly 10 years and it’s been very well taken care of. This car is SHARP! It’s a multi-show WINNER and looks great! Only flaws are a very small ding on one rear fender and a small hole on the driver’s seat, about the size of a pen prick. It has thousands in upgrades and is good and quick. Here some the details about the car: Performance: There’s a lot to list and I’m sure I’m forgetting things, but here are some of the highlights. It’s basically a full bolt on car. Pacesetter long tube headers Off road Y pipe Texas Speed catback system LS6 intake manifold FAST throttle body Smooth bellows Clear MTI air lid with SLP Blackwing air filter. Removed AIR and EGR systems 3.73 rear gears UMI torque arm UMI lower control arm relocation brackets UMI lower control arms Strut tower brace Lowering springs/shocks Cross drilled rotors Custom dynotune Nitto drag radial tires Car dynoed 340 at the wheels a few years ago. Despite the mods, this car has been taken to the track only three times. Looks: Car is bright silver and has 17-inch chrome Corvette wheels. Has the rear “CETA” mod where the rear of the lower bumper is painted black. Quad stainless steel exhaust tips round out the rear. Under the hood has been tidied up and may be one of the cleanest modern engine bays you’ve seen. All the stickers have been removed. All ground wires have been relocated. Wires that ran on the fenders have been rerouted. Everything that could practically be removed was taken out of the bay so it could be painted a high-gloss silver matched to the car’s exterior. The clear intake lid brings things together and really looks good. I’ll also note that this car does not have cracked interior door panels, which was a common problem for this generation. Also has a clear front license plate cover with the raised Firebird logo. Tinted windows. Clear front side markers and smoked rears. Nine months out of the year it sits in storage. It’s never seen salt. It doesn’t play in the rain. If I look outside and see a bird flying by that looks like it has a full stomach, I’ll probably leave the Trans Am at home. If sold outright I’d be looking for around $15,000, so keep that in mind with any trade offers. Willing to add or accept cash depending on what you have to offer. Only interested in automatics. Car is in eastern Nebraska. Would travel for the right deal. |
