I work in sf but my car is in sj.
Can anybody recommend a good body shop that will do custom performance body work?

Seems like there is a good amount in sac and socal but not much in San jose huh

not sure what you mean by custom performance body work. but try Garageworks in Hayward

Thanks for the recommendation. Looking for some place that can do custom body works. Want to make an add-on to my rear diffuser. Kinda like a generator for spats

Don't know any body shops..any recommendation for alignment? Looking for a place that will not suggest I go herrafrush on my 325 wide tires!

i recommend Auto innovations in milpitas for alignment/ corner balancing

I agree with Auto Innovations for alignment. Last time I checked though, they didn't do corner balancing but that was a couple of years ago.

Good call, a local "import shop" recommended them, will definitely give them a call. ALso need to get some tow bolts installed, which I am sure they can handle!

The same shop recommended reliance auto body, which does great with paint, not too sure if they do any fab/cf/FRP work, but hey, they did a hell of a job on my handles for a pretty decent price.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've also been to Reliance Autobody, they do great paint work and cheap installations on body parts. I've never had any custom fab work done by them though.

I've also been recommended for body work to check out Auto West Collision..Off Junction near Fry's electronics.

Auto West Collision painted a Nismo front bumper for me. First Class work.
Steven's Creek Nissan has been recommending them as well for years.
