Sacramento Meets/Chat

Not to derail this weekend's topic, but do any of you ever go out to the Sacramento track? I used to do test and tunes in Tucson all the time. Any local track etiquette I should know about? I'm thinking of going out for the first time soon, but I need to find a helmet first. I would love to make the Wednesday deal since it's only $15, but seeing as I work in the east bay, I'd probably do a Saturday afternoon. Also, since I'm driving up from Manteca, how are the facilities? Can I bring the fam? Is it comfortable as a spectator, or will they be bored on metal bleachers for four hours?
