Default Run on Jan 1st, 2014

Tossing this out for anyone interested in this run ! I am going ......

Below is a repost from a Z car friend.

Posted for....... Porsche of Livermore (PL)

Get Your Z ready for a great time and ride!!!
Wondering what to do on this coming Wednesday morning? 1 Jan 2014?
...
Get your special Z car out of the garage for the first drive of the 2014 year! see attached map link below

PL is inviting ALL makes and models to participate in this driving event. Last year we had many exotics including Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari, Lotus, Ariel Atom, Mercedes, BMW, and more. . . . these ranged from early model classics to current model race cars! This means another great event for those imfamous Zs!

Cars start showing up between 7:30-8:30, catered breakfast will be served between 8-9AM and the drive should start at 10AM. This drive will start at the dealership in Livermore and go up into the famous twisty Mines road to Mt. Hamilton and back through the Calaveras Reservoir. . .click the link below to see review the route on google maps! Mainly because of the catered breakfast
PLEASE RSVP to PorscheLivermore@gmail.com Mention ZONC in your response and we'll see you there!

Sounds interesting, maybe even worth the drive from Yuba, since this is the final week of holiday stand down for us I only work monday and friday this week. hmmm. How do they expect most people to make it though in the middle of the week?? Are people asking off work for this?

Yeh, it should be a good run and catered breakfast ! I am getting off work early New Years Eve and will spend the rest of the day prepping the Z.

If interested we could meet at my normal rendezvous meet up location - Chevron station at I-80 in W. Sac just before heading over the causeway.

Let me know and I will post up a meet up time .....gonna be early though if we need to get there by 7:30 am.

I will not be able to make this run. Kate and I are spending New Year's day together and are filling it with a long hike along the American River Parkway and a movie.

I really don't want to get up prior to 0530, how about meeting at the Chevron at 0630, does that work for you? Given the traffic situation early on new years day we should probably get there about on time anyway.

Let me map the time distance and see when we would get there from the Chevron station in W,Sac. There is a little lead way from arrival time and breakfast. I will get back with you. I think it can work but want to check to make sure
