Oh... I'm going to :stirthepot: a bit...

If you have an M3, this is a definite downgrade in almost every way.
But maybe you die for the 370's looks or whatever, lol or you :nutswinger: Nissan

I did run door to door... twice in my modded Z and my buddies E92 coupe :) But yes, I agree, downgrade. And yes, stock exhaust is not very good. Re50A's are loud.

ah I expect that fully, no disrespect to anyone. I do love the looks of the 370z (especially the side profile) and the 2 seater coupe format (my Z4M was an awesome car in the city - bit rough for long commutes tho). I rented a 350z for a weekend once many years ago and remember quite liking it.

I'm not liking driving my M so many short distances and pay a ton of money for good parking (covered parking where I'm not going to get door dinged). In addition, going back to (private) school part time which is costing more than my car ... things are a bit tight in these uncertain times for my liking :) ideally i should get a beater but realistically I should probably sell the M and get something more affordable, something I'd enjoy driving and looking at, there aren't a lot of options < $50k these days anymore, can't stand the new 3 series.

oh and also, I'm not a big turbo fan, much prefer naturally aspirated

(Hope this isn't heresy around here:) ) I applaud Toybaru for what they did with the BRZ/FRS... now if only it came with a real engine, how about a 6 cylinder and a cabin where you actually want to be (like the Z) and call it $40k.

So far I have only done the trunk, I used the 50 mil, but I doubled up almost everywhere. I also applied plastidip underneath the GTMat to make an uninstall easier.
I used probably 15-20 square feet (before doubling up in certain areas, just depends how anal you are) as well as putting expanding builder's foam in the left side wheel well against the body and I filled the bottom chassis brace.
I MIGHT be doing it all again, in which case I'll be using 70mil Butyl GTMat

As for reliability... :roflpuke2: it ain't like any Toyota I have ever owned!
I'll PM you MY problems so I don't have to clog this thread with my issues

It's "next week". :stirthepot:
