Default Body Shop For Painting Door Handles?!?!?

Sup.

Trying to get some door handles painted, pretty new to the area(from Las Vegas) and am unfamiliar with body shops in the bay area.

Im still debating whether i want to color match(black cherry), or go flat/satin black. But Ill need to find a shop first.

So what shops would you all recommend specifically for parts or small jobs like this. Im in the South Bay, bur really its all about getting the right quality at the right price.

Also, about how much would this cost? I know in Vegas, the many hot rod body shops will shoot these for right around 100 if i remove the handles and disassemble what i can. But labor in the bay area is redonk(this is why i moved here, mucho $$$), so im fairly certain im paying more for this job.

Thanks peeps. Love living here btw......except for the nazi CARB/CHP/anything anti-tuner regime

Nice! I'm not the only black cherry in the bay. Haha.

Looking to do my handles satin black. I don't think a shop can match our tri-coat paint that well. Not 100% sure but thats what i read.

There should be plenty of guys here that could recommend a good shop.

Nice, ive only seen one driving around, near 880 and brokaw, sport, just like me. My wife laughed her *** off, since we also loved the fact that we've never seen BC before, and this was 2 days after purchase. This is the first sports car in a color i havent backtracked in my first month of ownership....i either love it, or im getting old.

Was thinking the same thing about satin handles......but i love the range of color in BC...never get bored of it. is it black, burgundy or gurple? We will never know.

Getting my oem rays PCed 80/20 matte gloss black/charcoal, get them back friday, so im 99% stuck on satin black handles.

Luckily i have time tommorrow, will be getting quotes, but suggestions are definetly welcome!

i went to lightwurks in daly city and they warned me that painting the handles would eventually chip/fade/something. is there a way around this?

Even the stock finish can get scratches and chips over time but of course stock can withstand some abuse without getting chipped so easily like aftermarket paint and when that happens you repaint it again.

That's been awhile already! I don't think I can take in anymore projects at the mean time. I have 4 sets of headlights lined up and 2 suspension job. I am super busy till then otherwise I would come and help you out.

RMS rolling and coating did the powdercoat. Came out nice, tuscan matte black is the finish...

Anyhow, with the wheels on there, im not too sure about black handles, might be tacky. Williams was recommended to me for colormatching black cherry(which im sure will be a major pain in the ***).

Anyone with photoshop skills is welcome to toss up some PS black handles for a look. But im still up for suggestions, all suggestions were solid, gave great price and had awesome referrals thus far.

Oh, and cost for PC was 420 including mount/remount and balance. Turn around time was about a week, the shop was swamped with work when i get them done.

So friggen happy with how they came out. Black makes the Black Cherry mean as all hell imo. NOw these damned handles.....and gaudy headlights.

It will look even sexier when the headlights are blacked out.
