Trackmasters Racing at Thunderhill 6/22/12

Anyone interested in track time at Thunderhill on Friday 6/22?

I'm going and had a great time the last time I was there. It's a wide open track that's relatively easy to get around and you can get up to 100mph on the front straight-away.

I plan on going up the night before as track opens early and it's a bit of a drive from the SF Bay area...

Now discounted to $100 for over 2 HOURS of track time!

I'm going, so I can be someones "Primary" for the offer below from Trackmasters Racing Home

-------------------------------------------------------------------
This Friday, June 22nd, TMR will be hosting another track event at Thunderhill
Raceway. This event is lightly populated and as a result there are numerous
spaces available for friends or guests of TMR drivers. To encourage a few more
drivers to participate at this event we've decided to allow currently registered
drivers, along with any new drivers who sign-up between today and Friday, the
opportunity to pay for one entry and get the 2nd entry for half price. That's
a $100 for a day at T-Hill! Cheapest price event of the season at T-Hill!!

This is a Tiered event and the format is 3 run groups throughout the day, so
there will be loads of track time! Tier 1 drivers run 7 sessions, Tier 2
drivers run 5 sessions.

Experience Levels - Given the very limited staff we will have on hand this
Friday, we will not be offering in-car instruction to any new Novice sign-ups.
That being said, the experience level for drivers taking advantage of this
program needs to be Intermediate, Mixed, or Advanced.

To sign-up and take advantage of this 2nd entry savings you'll need a special
discount code. In order to get the code you'll need to send us an e-mail with
the following information:

1. Primary Driver and the name of the 2nd (guest) driver
2. E-mail address for the 2nd Driver (driver using the discount code)
3. Skill level of Primary and 2nd Driver

Send this information to: [1]tmr.trackevents@gmail.com

After we review your response we will send you a discount code to be used when
registering for the 2nd slot at the event.

Please spread the word wide and far about this exceptional deal for track time
- T-Hill for $100!

Same here... definitely next time. Ran Laguna Seca with Trackmasters back in December. Seems decently run.

Hello...just got my Z last month and is stock. I saw thread on how to prep for track day. If I just looking to have fun and run on a real track for the first time, do I just drive my car there and have fun?

I'd love to but I have to study for a securities exam next week. I'm so ready to start tracking my car.

You should pick up a few things to be sure and bring with you:

roll of blue painters tape (to put your number on your car)

tire pressure gauge (get a quality one with analog dial not the pop out stick) to check tire pressures before and after runs on the track.

A helmet. Go to a motorcycle shop and find something you like. Get the latest Snell safety rated helmet.

Fill your tank with gas

you need to sign up with trackmasters and pay before the event

pretty simple.

I will definitely post other events to keep people informed.

If you come I will help you get your car ready and show you the track. Trackmasters does a great job of providing instructors and post run class time to answer questions and help you drive the course safer and faster and let you have fun.

Hope to see you at a future event.

Nician please keep me posted as well. I'm going to try and make the August event at T-Hill. Will have my oil cooler and brake pads on by then.

I'll start a new thread with current event dates.

I wasn't able to go to the early August event, but TrackMasters has just posted a number of new "Track Packs" for the rest of the season that will give you discounts when you sign up for multiple days at one time. Mix of tracks (Laguna Seca/Sears Point/Thundhill) are available.

Thunderhill is always a good time. Depending on how you come onto the front straight you hit in the upper 120s

Chico370Z 09-24-2012 07:35 PM

Is there a phone number to contact these people? I have submitted questions on the Contact Us box/link, but have not heard anything back....was kinda hoping to have a few questions addressed.....

Chico370Z 09-25-2012 08:38 AM

bump....

Nician 10-27-2012 11:26 AM

What questions did you have? Maybe I can answer them?
