Santa Clara water hard or soft?

I'm planning on hand washing this week but I'm worried that Santa Clara might have hard water. Anyone know?

not sure, but san jose definitely has hard water

I'm not positive but I think San Jose and Santa Clara might share the same water source so that's good to know. Thanks.
