Exclamation F. Annoying clutch!!!!

I have this annoying clutch issue when I'm shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. after reading some 370z owners complaining about the same clutch issue, I am convinced that this is a standard issue for this vehicle. I had enough with this clunky @ss clutch. Before taking it to the Dirito Bros for an inspection, I would like some advice from the well-informed 370z owners because I want to ask right questions to these clowns at the dealerships. Thank you in advance.

yeah man, the shift from 1st to 2nd is the 'notchiest'. I also get a kind of 'click' when shifting to 3rd sometimes (ppl said I was "forcing" it?). It's common, our transmission is just clunky like that... night and day when compared to Audi S4...

Thanks Anthony. I feel little relieved after reading your comment. Is there any other mechanical issues I should be aware about?

Nope, none that I know of. Have fun with the car!

Edit: maybe oil temps if you track the car, but if not, I wouldn't worry about it

If you guys think the 370Z trans is bad, try driving a vintage manual trans sports car!

A notchy shift from 1st to 2nd is totally normally. As long as it's not grinding, and the clutch is adjusted properly, you're fine. If possible, drive another low mileage Z to compare.

Completely agree. These kids today, friggin' NOOBS. Y'all wouldn't last 5 minutes in my old Alfa before you were wetting your pants.

Hey, I'm a "kid"! I'm only 22, but I've driven cars of all ages. I always laugh when I hear people saying RHD cars are awkward because of the shifting.... Try a Ford Model T :O
