Ya know, I traded my Seal Gray 996 in so I could get a NISMO. I have had more people come over to or otherwise compliment my NISMO in the past 4 months than 4 years with the Porsche. And... the NISMO has more power, far better suspension than my stock 996. My old '88 Carrera (prepped race car) however blows the NISMO away but then again, the NISMO is street legal!

the cost of service for the nismo must feel like nothing to you compared to your porsche. i used to own a mercedes, and i know the cost of service for a mercedes is nothing compared to that of a porsche, but it was significantly higher than that of a nismo.

I've seen 3 different MB 370z's this past week on 680N late in the afternoon on my way to work. First one was around the fairgrounds, we trailed each other all the way to Danville I think.

Then I sped past a Nismo a few days ago, I was in the carpool lane running late for work.

And last night I followed another for about 10 miles, got off on the same exit behind you, turned down the same streets until I got to work and you went into downtown Walnut Creek.

Hey Mick, no kidding. Every option was thousands vs. Hundreds. I still have a Mercedes SLK that my wife drives. Lots of debate on extended warranty on Nissans but on both the Mercedes and Porsche, well worth it. I do love that I have really solid stock performance though for less than half the price of a new Porsche.

Saw two gray ones tonight when I was in my black 370... the first one, some douchebag with glasses on 101 northbound near Burlingame that wouldn't look over or wave back as I was giving him the thumbs up a few times and eventually drove off. Had an AE Performance license plate frame.

Second was when I was about to get on the Bay Bridge, gave him the thumbs up, he waved back. Good to see not all of us are douchebags...

OK, so who was it just an hour ago in the Red Nismo on 580 East Near Foothill RD in Dublin?

I was in the PG Nismo, tinted windows.. YOU were riding my @$$ while I was going 80+
Anyway, nice driving, I enjoyed the off ramp, although I had to change my underwear when I got home.
