it says its a private event can people go just to watch ?

no only ppl that are in the event. probably for safety reasons

I walked right in and stayed for about an hour. I did however park right up front and whoever was watching the gate didn't say anything and probably assumed I was with the event. A family with small kids walked up behind me and were denied access....lol
