why don't you try working out a deal to buy the car from her? yea you'll lose a bit of money and pride but if you want this Z, it'll still be a better deal than the dealership.

i mean in actual dollars. one year out of 3 is a lot more than one year out of 5. I'm just trying to understand how much of the car you have actually paid for. Is she open to doing a deal with you or is she keeping the car just to bust your balls.

Although legally there is nothing you can do, if you have paid for a substantial amount of the car, and she wont sell it to you, you could take her to small claims court. If you share a car with someone, and it is their name, clearly they are the legal owner of it, however, a judge might side with you have you had made all the payments thus far. i don't know, but its worth a shot. so how much $ did you actually pay towards the car. how much did she?

if it was really that personal and touchy i doubt he'd put it on a car forum on the internet. I didn't ask him why they broke up or any personal information, i'm merely trying to help a fellow Z owner keep his Z and offering up any ideas i could come up with in order to help facilitate that happening.
