If you can manage it, Sunday makes more sense. Same plan.

I think Casher and you live near me (San Leandro)? Maybe we can meet somewhere so we can cross the bridge at the same time. If that works for you, send me an address to meet you.

If you live in the East Bay, there is a community center in San Leandro with a parking lot that's easy to find and always empty. Here is the address:
1550 San Leandro Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94577

If you plan to meet me there at 9am, PM me so we can exchange cell numbers.

I'll drive to Upper Crystal Spring Reservoir Vista Point from there.

Cool. It'll be us and a friend of mine taking off from San Leandro. Forecast still says the sun will be out. Should be fun!

To recap:

Casher and I are starting from San Leandro at 9am (1550 San Leandro Blvd). We'll head to Upper Crystal Spring Reservoir and link up with xoxOnaisa.

From Upper Crystal Spring Reservoir, the three of us head to Alice's and meet with yaoxiao4. With traffic, delays, etc, we'll be at Alice's at 1030 am?

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR COMING AND BRINGING FRIENDS! Such a pleasure meeting you all!

I would say that was a very successful first meet and I am looking forward to more.

I Am definitely down to that cruise again....only because I didn't even join in the actual Cruise part! haha

Let me know what day works best for everyone to do this cruise again.

Someone on the other thread had mentioned a Mines Road Run from Livermore to SJ. I am not sure how that canyon is during the winter months, with fallen trees etc.

Let me know other cruise routes if you have any in mind.

I recently ran it the week before thanksgiving. Granted it didn't rain yet so everything was dry. It was a great run starting from the Livermore side as coming down Hamilton you are on the inside road away from the cliff. Stopping by the Junction was great too. They had a great ghost pepper cheese burger haha. I actually enjoyed it more than 17. Overall it took me about 3 hours end to end not including lunch.
