shop recommendations in PDX?
I'm thinking of doing a GTM twin turbo on my 370Z with the 7 speed automatic. I'm thinking I'll order parts and have them installed here in Portland, OR. Can you guys recommend a good shop with fair prices?
I've also been reading about GTM and it sounds like they make quality parts, but any more input on their twin turbo systems would be appreciated. |

Whats your overall power goal? are you intending to use the car as a daily still? Far as shops that are familiar with the 370z, Portland Speed Industries is the only one and probably the best one in the NW.

I would take the car down to GTM and have them do it and do the tuning, but if you want to stay local agree with Jaez take it to PSI.
How much horse power are you trying to make, if it's anything under 550hp I would go with the super charger or twin charger that GTM has, if it's over that I would then go for the twin turbo setup. Make sure your cooling is up to par, better radiator (Z1 motorsports sells csf radiators and I hear pretty good things about), big oil cooler, trans cooler, and power steering cooler, these cars run hot as it is, and your adding a lot more heat with either setup. I wouldn't be looking at a fair price but who does the best job. Going boosted on these cars is tricky (telling it second hand from one of the Vips of Cobb Surgeline I met at cars and coffee a few months back) and if it's not done just right you'll have nothing but issue till you sell it. Good Luck |

Oh yeah I totally for got about Rhom Innovations, my bad. That's a very cool shop, I have heard they do some real solid work for sure. Some of the races cars I've seen in their shop were amazing.
