It's that time, June 7th at the Ridge Motorsports Park with NASA. Anyone going to be there?
I will be there both days.
Great, I can only be there on the 7th. I have an autocross event in Bremerton on the 8th and since I compete the whole year there I can't miss. What group are you signed up for with NASA?
I will be running HPDE 3 that weekend. You?
Same, HPDE 3. Looking forward to it, hope the weather works out. See you there
I'll be ordering my oil cooler, brake lines, pads and tires next week then I should be out to play at the ridge whenever I get back from traveling. who has the cheapest events for beginners?
NASA is a good place to start, $199 for one day with an instructor. HPDE 1
NASA NorthWest | We Drive Harder |
NASA is where I got my start with the car. They have a really good setup going and in the past, I've seen the instructors take their students out in their own cars as well.
JD, great meeting you today and good luck tomorrow. I had a new personal best time of 2:04 today, I also sent you a PM on the brake pads
Great to meet you as well, Sunday went a good bit faster for me but the brakes were still I big issue. I still managed to get down around the 2:05 and 2:06 range. Looking forward to another shot with some brakes I don't set nearly on fire, lol.

OK, if any of you are really serious about a track day read the information below from NASA, this is a good deal for a chance to take your car on the track
We are offering a new INTRODUCTORY session on Saturday July 19th known as HYPERDRIVE! Hyperdrive is a great way for new drivers to get on track and test the waters for minimal cost! The Hyperdrive event will include a ground school, one session of track orientation and etiquette, and one FULL HPDE 1 session. NASA membership is NOT required to participate in HYPERDRIVE and the cost is only $99. Anyone over the age of 18 with a valid drivers license may participate. Thought I would share this weekends auto-x events. Saturday was the annual SSSCC event in Ellensburg where I placed 4th out of 15 and then Bremerton on Sunday and had another 1st place.
