Oregon, Washington

Any members in Oregon or Washington?

What dealership are you going to go through?

Any Reported problems with dealers that other members should know about?

Let us know if you test drive and what your impressions were.

I'm excited for my new Z, I hope it doesn't mind rain because that isn't really an option for Oregon/Washington drivers.

I was in NW (portland & seattle) couple of months ago... place is green & beautiful... when landing, saw lots of fog, thought it was a smoke from fire...

BanningZ 12-19-2008 03:58 AM

Thanks on the NW props. I like it here.
We did have some fires 2-3 months ago in Oregon, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were fog. Fog lights are a must here in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 370z next month. Hopefully attending meets. I won't be buying until 2010 model comes out.

I'm in Beaverton. I purchased my 370 in February. It is actually the blue one that was on the showroom floor at the Portland Autoshow.

LOVE IT!!! I have also seen a white one driving around my neighborhood about one month after I got it. Was hoping to remain exclusive just a little longer... but still can't complain.

Just waiting for a group ride! Also thinking about heading out to PIR.

Welcome! I used to ride my motorcycle at PIR, wouldn't mind doing it in the car either. Let me know if you decide to go.

Friday is my Monday, I'll be at work 4pm-12am. :shakes head:

That is a bummer... they only run the open drag on Friday and Saturday nights.

anybody here go through beaverton nissan? i used to service my spec v there back in the day, no complaints. but one their sales managers (mehdi) is a little too pushy for my liking, and refuses to negotiate on any car not on his lot (including dealership transfers & factory orders). i've got access to VPP pricing, and would really prefer to order a 2010 with the options i want, since it's getting harder to find a base 6MT + sport in platinum graphite (i've only been able to find *1* in the PNW). but i'm not giving up hope yet. any advice/contacts at PNW dealers, especially fleet managers?

I purchased my car through Beaverton Nissan and also worked with Mehdi. I would try Jay Lee's Nissan in Gladstone, not sure if they would be any more helpful in finding something that isn't in their current inventory, but it wouldn't hurt to try... Or maybe checkout Vancouver Automall?

i'm working with joel @ wilsonville nissan now. here's one of their internet specialists. last we spoke, he said there'd be no problem getting a factory-ordered 2010 using VPP, after confirming with their sales manager, provided i can commit when they get their allocation and put their orders through. until nissan usa starts allocating/taking orders though, it's a waiting game :(

I was in there a couple weeks ago but left due to there pushy approach; however Nismo #33 (Platinum grey) is on the floor and I had them talked down to $37,000. I decided to buy else where because I wanted the Nismo in a different color. I even got better pricing, $36,900...I think I did all right considering it's around $800 under invoice.

Good luck on getting your car!

Boardkat went a different route and bought a pontiac solstice gxp zok. So no 370z for him.

I did notice you put BS #198...are you referring to SCCA Solo BS? If so...see ya in the class next year! Nevermind, if I had to guess BS stands for a color code and your nismo is #198
