I'm coming to Washington
Hi, so as the title states I am new in Washington. I'm not actually in Washington yet but I will be around mid December. I am in the Navy, have been for a little more then 4 years now. I like to work on cars and enjoy learning about them more then ALMOST anything else ;) I dont have any pictures of my car and thats becuase I just dont have a camera :shakes head: The car is sitting at my parents because Im in school in CT for my new job and didn't want to bring it here, so I just left it at there house. Walking everywhere is no fun and in alot of ways I wish I brought it. I won't be driving it to Washington either, I will be having it shipped. I don't want to drive it that far and put all those miles on it.
Goals: To gain knowledge, meet new people, and to post up a 10 secondn 1/4 run before I leave. Some things about the car: I drive a PW 2010 Nissan 370Z MT. Modifications include the following: - GTM stage 2 (garrett GT28RS .86 A/R) - GTM 3" down pipes - Tial 38mm external waste gates -ordered HSK SQV4 BOV's ;) - Tial BOV's - AAM 3" CBE - HKS EVC 6 boost controller - OS Giken 1.5 differential - south bend TZR clutch - south bend CSC - ACT 18LB flywheel - CE28N genesis wheels 19x9.5 19x10.5 (sold) -SSR type-f 18x9.5 18x10.5 (more race oriented) - Defi advanced gauges -JWT oil pan spacer - hood dampeners I normally drag race but would like to get more into auto X and road racing. How is the scene in washington? Im really tired and it late so I appolagize for any bad grammer issues :) V/r Stryker |
Dang, nice ride, looking forward to seeing it! We are not particularly active in the winter and some of us park the Z, me primarily because my tires suck in the rain. Anyhoo, the Z Car Club of Washington is a fun group of Z owners and we're very slowly getting more 370s to come out for our long drives and show and shines, a lot of Z32s and 350s. The Bremerton Sports Car Club and the Western Washington Sports Car Council are the big auto-x organizations up here and there are some great locations for events, Pacific Grand Prix is a purpose-built 0.82 mile outdoor kart track that has car lapping days (I've only done one but you get a lot of track time for the money) and Pacific Raceways has 2.25 mile road course that numerous car clubs around the area have track days and the track also has open test and tuning days.

Thanks a lot, ill look into all that. just recently seen videos on Bremerton raceway drag races, I think my cubic inches are lacking :/ a lot of older muscle cars so it should be a lot of fun out there.
