TRADE: Meistershaft GTS for FI/Stillen/Berk CBE!
EDIT: No longer avail, I sold it and got the FI setup!
Anyone want to trade for a Meistershaft plus $200? I recommend you not have Hi Flow Cats or test pipes! Cat back is complete and in mint shape, just installed it 2 days ago. Just too loud for me. It gets real loud at around 3K RPMs. If you want to hear it come out to the meet Sat or pm and we can meet up!

Ever get this worked out res and tj? I'm still wanting to trade mine as well, it's just crazy loud for a daily drive. Half the time it makes me drive crazy just to hear it, the other half it makes me paranoid the cops can hear me a mile away.

I test drove the 18" FI resonated CF setup w/test pipes. Kind've an odd one to my ear. Sounds better, but the drone was intense, like a physical pressure in my ears. Not sure I could live with it without doing an anti-resonation mod.

I noticed the drone too but it's nothing compared to the Meisterschaft GTS and 200 cell count HFC combo! (I'm sure its about the same as Nikon FM's setup as I heard it at the meets) It was like I was going back to stock! LOL I love it. I doubt it's because of the resonators on the mid pipe though...

Yeah my ears are weird anyways. Wonder how hard/effective it would be to do one of those weird anti-drone mods lol.
I have started to get used to the GTS, it's only when I forget it that it reminds me. I park in an underground parking garage every day for work, and the other day I had the window down and leaned into it just a tiny bit (3k rpm at most) and it was like OMG I'M DEAF lol. Sounds amazing, turns heads, but sheeeeeesh is it loud. Wish I knew more about exhaust tech so I could figure out why all the performance systems are so incredibly loud. I swear at 2k rpm at light load my 370Z is louder than my 395 hp 400 ft lb LS2 v8 TrailBlazer SS is at WOT. Is nobody into stealth any more?

I kinda think the FI setup I have now is too quiet! I guess the GTHAUS setup rubbed off on me. I miss those underpass/tunnel rev scare moments. It was awesome....

I've not read anything good about the NISMO exhaust. 6 hp or something, what a waste.
I thought resonated test pipes was fairly close to HFCs but maybe not. The FI setup I heard had all the extra resonators but with test pipes and it didn't sound much quieter than mine, and it made my ears buzz with drone. I'd be interested to hear your setup if we ever hit a meet. And, if it's too quiet, we can trade and you can have GTS again.
