I will send emails. That is outrageous. No increasing performance. They might as well only sell autos that are 35+MPG and low emissions in the state. That would get the results faster and better than what they are suggesting. Everyone would vote it down fortunately. The sad thing is they might be able to slide a bill passed like the one you have posted. Most people do not care about modding and if it helped the environment, why not vote yes. Scary. |

That bill won't pass.
That's going to hurt the pockets of everyone. State taxes, federal taxes, fix-it-tickets, auto-part stores, vendors, manufacturers... That'd be like cutting your nose off the spite your face. California tried to raise the taxes on the Porn Industry another 25% (putting the income tax WAY above 50%) and the bill wasn't passed because it'd hurt EVERYONE... Not just the porn industry.
