Working for a deal below MSRP. Not finalized yet but I'll post details once papers are signed. If all goes well I'll pick the vehicle up on 1/28.

Awesome! I paid MSRP, but I also had a trade so the deal got a little convoluted.

"Convoluted" is the perfect word to describe the process. It seems that things are working out though. I'll know more tomorrow.

Are you trading or selling private? I tried selling my 07 Accord coupe with 15k miles on it and did not get a single call or e-mail in a month, so that's why I traded it.

I first went to a Saturn buyer. He loved my SKY and wanted it so he offered me $500 more than his highest auction price (as they now are). I doubled checked his price looking up the Edmonds car facts. I'm soooooooo disappointed how much the worth of the car has gone down. I was impressed however, when the Saturn buyer started calling his Nissan dealer friend and got me a deal $1200 below MSRP. (I guess he really likes my car). Anyway like I said earlier the whole deal seems pretty good, hopefully it is and there will me no major surprizes. The Saturn buyer was really cool for stepping in like he did to get things initiated.

So are we the only PNW people?

I really like the looks of the Sky/Solstice. I wanted to check out the coupe version, but with GM's woes I decided not to wait. I will also check out the new Camaro if it ever makes it to production.

FYI the KBB on my car was around $22k. I started it there in my E-bay, Auto Trader and CL ads. I kept dropping into the $18s with nothing. So I ended up taking $17k for mine and MSRP for the Z. The used car market is as bad or worse as the new car market.

BanningZ is up in Salem and plans to buy a Z soon, but not yet as far as I know.

My Sky is in near perfect condition with dealer installed mods with a tune that pulls all the bolt ons into sync, even if I had ultra low miles the price I could get would still be pretty low. The car looks so good though, that the Saturn buyer told me he wanted my car and gave me $500 over the typical high auction price (verified through different dealerships unrelated). I only excepted that offer due to the tax benefit with the trade-in. The margin is fairly thin between what I could sell it for verses what I'm getting including the tax benefit.

I still need to see the paper work to verify that the numbers have stayed the same since Saturday prior to signing for the Z.

If all goes as stated I'll be getting a Black/Black interior Touring, Sport with Nav. It is difficult for me to trust dealerships in general so I'm a little anxious to see if everything ends up as they originally stated...........

Well I hope it works out for you, if you got the 6MT we have the exact same car! That's pretty damn cool. Let me know how it goes!

Default LA delivery center

The dealership is trying to motivate the delivery center to get the car up here as soon as possible. This could go into the end of Feb.........I hope not.

Default Count down

Arrival is scheduled for 2/6, but maybe sooner. I am pretty happy about how the dealership is working this situation and for below MSRP.......nice!

Looking forward to getting some drives together Spring/Summer. I know some great roads that are almost an ab workout from all the miles of turns.
