Rock Chips
Quote:
Where were the rock chips located? Is it okay XPEL just the bumper and rear fender portion you mentioned? I plan on waxing the car about every 3 days () and I'm thinking dealing with the line across the hood would get troublesome? Nice pics showing the window tint, and good looking dog too. Thanks

There are literally 50 little tiny chips on each side of the car. The clear bra can be a problem with wax, dirt, fuzz etc. The installer said to take a Q-tip with some alcohol once a month and run it along the edge. I would be very careful doing that though as it's easy to damage the paint. |

Picture is good
Very helpful, thanks!
Do you think this is the process: 1. Rocks from driveway/road get stuck in front tires. 2. Get up to speed the rocks fling out and nail the rocker panel (red arrow area)? Are there any chips on the front bumper? I live in an area where during the winter months the roads get sanded a bit too frequently. Some of the sand is not so small in diameter and ends up nailing car panels and front windows. This post is very helpful in that hopefully I can exercise some preventative measures to minimize the dings. Thanks again.

I thought about dealing with the line across the hood or doing the whole hood and dealing with different optics between the hood and doors after waxing and decided to just do the bumper and rocker arms. ???
Guess I'll see.
