The weather is starting to cool down, time to hit the 1/4mile strip! I'm thinking about going this week either Wednesday or Friday. Anyone interested?

I'm interested but I need to know what time, def. won't know how to get there, how much would it cost?

I wish I could make it but I cant. Ill be too busy dropping that class Ray :p

New Jersey motorsports park, Raceway Park, offers a full schedule of world class drag racing events.

It's $20 to $30, depending on the day, I can't remember. Plus a couple bucks for the stinky helmet rental, unless you already have your own.

Are you coming from north NJ or from RU New Brunswick?

Do they only do 1/4 miles? Or can you also do laps?

There's track there but I'm going there for 1/4 mile. I have no idea when they do track days, I'm gona guess weekends. I'm going to try to get there between 5 and 6.

I was on route 18 for a little while in the afternoon, got about as far as that Wawa just past East Brunswick.

Hmmm, I checked the weather forecast this morning and it was supposed to be clear w/ 30% chance of rain for Wednesday. Just checked now and it's "periods of rain" but still 30% chance. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

PM showers for tomorrow night. damnit!!!

Well it looks like tonight isn't going to happen but I'm going to leave Friday night open to go. It's supposed to be clear weather then.
