Also, I'm an installer for geek squad - best buy. I do Car audio, alarm - remote start systems, factory radio integration as well. Any of you need something a long those lines to be installed in a vehicle let me know :D.
I also play around with custom jobs as well. Last custom was installing a 40" LED bar that's normally found on jeeps for offroading behind a bumper of a 350z. Don't ask, that's what he wanted lol. Here's the pic. |
I'm looking to upgrade the speakers of my Z soon.

Already have a head unit. Just need some speakers that will knock better. And no I'm not a fan of bass. I like tables and miss better

what's your budget diddy?
|
$300. Maybe $400
Speakers only. I don't want anything too crazy. No amp. Nothing like that. Just something that will knock better when I turn up. I do enjoy to hear my car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Should be 3.5" speakers on the dash and 6x9 subs on the doors if you have the bose system. If you don't have the bose system, it should be 6.5 in the doors. As far as speakers go without adding an amplifier. No real need to buy speakers that are over 100 bucks. It would be sort of useless because with speakers that are higher than that price, you're paying not only for quality but for the RMS watts as well. Alpine type s speakers (model: SPS-610) are a good replacement for the door speakers. The alpine SPS-410 are 4" speakers that should fit on top in the dash grills. |
I can let you listen in on my speakers if you want to.
I have Hybrid Audio Imagine speakers that were $300. I do have it matched up with a sub and an amp though. |
Nice. I need to get on that asap. Been spending too much with stance and power.

I'm definitely coming to you when ready. Thanks a lot brother!

Those are pricey but I've heard good things from that brand.
also MMats makes some good quality speakers too. Arguably, the best sounding speaker I've listened to in a car were infinity's kappa perfect. Talk about amazing quality and accurate mids/highs. |
I'll never get how you can stance in NYC man. Even stock height I'm crawling. Although they did fix a few potholes in my area.
|
Potholes are so bad by me. I'm swerving like crazy.
I'm lost too on how you're doing stance. I'd be beyond worried lol |
Anything better than mine speakers would sound great. I don't have the Bose. I'm also not a fan of bose anyways. Easy. Slow on streets. Usually I book on the highways. Just last night a few friends and I were wilding on the belt. Just gotta becareful. Only problem I had was my front lip flew off lol. Street wasn't leveled so as I was bouncing up and down like a chic doing surfboard that crap flew off lol. Other than that. No problems. ::knock on wood::

For stick cars there's a few options because others don't work well with stick. for others who are interested STICK Viper 5706V - LCD screen Remote Start, Security, Keyless entry. 1 mile range (depending on tall buildings or not). 2 Way system, meaning you'll get a confirmation tone sent back to the receiver letting you know the car has remote started, locked, unlocked, or the alarm has gone off. geek squad quoted price is at $681.94 before taxes. That includes labor and parts. remember it's a quoted price...;) Can't say much more on that but you get the idea. pm if anything. viper 4806V remote start and keyless entry - 1 mile - 2 way =$481.94 before taxes viper 5806V remote start, security, keyless entry - 1 mile - 2 way=$581.94 viper 3105V remote start and keyless entry - 1500ft(block and a half) - 1 way=$229.98 Please keep in mind that with stick cars, they're have been issues due to user failure. A lot of times car owners leave the parking brake down and park the car in gear. They remote start it and next thing you know the car launches and smack into a pedestrian, or another car. Be completely sure that's what you want. Auto Cars If you'd like to keep your car as simple as possible, then the RSR feature is for you. RSR= Remote Start Ready. Many new cars these days are compatible with remote start units to be installed and they can get programmed to your factory fob. This feature won't work for manual trans. You would press LOCK X 3 and the car remote starts. As far as range is concerned? The range will be the same range as the regular fob. So if you can only get about 1000ft then that it'. RSR=$209.97 before tax Viper 4115V1B - remote start - 1 way - 1500ft =$291.95 before tax Viper 4105VB - Remote start and Keyless entry - 1500ft - 1 way=$381.84 before tax Viper 5706V - mentioned this one before up above, same price listed Viper 4205V- Remote start - 2 way - 2000ft=$421.95 before tax Viper 4806V - mentioned this one before up above with price listed Viper 5806V - mentioned this one before up above with price listed |

also anyone know where I can get the oem spoiler that's on the sports package 370z? at a reasonable price of course, or if they have a hook up, get at me. |

The viper smart start is a subscription paid add-on. You download the free app and either pay $70 bucks a year for the sub. or 170-180 for 3 years. I have that stuff in my location. |

Hey guys, anyone know a place where I can get my car's roof vinyled gloss black? Preferably somewhere close to CT.
|
Thanks enkei. I'm iffy with eBay spoilers but looks like there's a lot of good reviews.

I don't trust eBay anything lol. I mean for cars of course. There's enough people on forums and facebook car pages. Which I prefer personally
