Hello! I'm new to the 370Z owners group. I live up in the Bronx, but work in Times Square in Manhattan. The Z is the new love of my life. it's too much fun!
I used to own a '79 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce' (supped up) and was a member of the New York Alfa Owners Club. We did car shows, wine tastings and other events, track days and a weekly breakfast on Sundays at a diner on Long Island. Do you guys do stuff like that here in NY/NYC? Would love to meet some of you guys and learn more about the Z and what kind of modifications you're doing. Also, really REALLY into going to driving schools and track days in the spring, too!

Welcome man! I'm hoping that things pick up in NY once spring hits. The scene right now is just too quiet. What have u done so far to your whip?

We are looking at doing another 2 or 3 private track events like we did last year down at NJMP. We held a great HPDE School with a Pro Grand-am Driver and Coach who walked everyone around the track and everyone had about 3+ hrs of track time.

Hopefully we'll see some Zs out there this year.

Hey guys, we're already 1/4 of the way through January let's get those meets planned, I need to hear people's exhausts in person before I buy mine!

Where is everyone? All of the New Yorkers Z owners are MIA... Who's down for a meet... maybe food and a few beers?

my car's a weekender.

Where are you in BK? I may be heading to 180 soon to get my headlights done one weekend, hopefully before the end of this month, so maybe we can meet up there to hang out or something.

I'm literally 10 mins away from 180. They do amazing work. LMK when you'll be around so maybe we can plan something.

This week will be cold, but it's getting progressively warmer. It's approaching February; Get the Zs out of storage and plan some meets!

I'm tired of driving my winter beater. Need the warm weather NOW!

Drove my nismo around since i got it except for when there was snow on the ground, and its been fine with stock tires...havent had a chance to pick up winter ones... But my car is super dirty -_-... Cant wait to get it washed waxed and detailed.

Dom I sent a request for the Z of NY FB group. Hopefully it gets accepted lol

Had the chance to drive last night and the earlier part of today, the weather was decent out, time to keep her parked for another couple of days until it warms up again.

Hey I don't mind driving from CT to meet some of the other forum members. I went to a few GenCoupe meets when I had that car before the Z. Maybe we can do a dyno meet which would be cool, RDZ motorsports is in Danbury, CT. I'm sure they'd be down to host a meet.

Yeah please do, I want to hear the Fast Intentions exhaust in person so I can see if it's the right exhaust for my car.

Yeah def man... I have a bunch of videos up on youtube of it as well if you need. Both inside and outside of the car.

Update: I have an appointment scheduled for March 8th to get my headlights and some other stuff done at 180, so if you have time that weekend...

DAMN! where my queens people from ? i thought i was the only one with a Z in queens, at least with a 70 though.

myself and someone else had a thread like this this passed summer, didnt pick it up. However we started a group on Facebook called ZONY (Z's Of New York. 350s and 370s be there, we always posting Z meets and varies meets. yall should join. Most members from L.I.

I've seen a few Z's out in Queens :p

most of the meets are in LI like you said. I don't mind driving out there, but this damn weather needs to get better and they have to fix pothole central on the belt first.

New Z owner from Queens. My girlfriend also has a Z so you might see a solid red and pearl white z ripping the pothole infested streets of queens.
