This.
I run Michelin Super Sports in the summer.... the grip is heaven... 75mph sweeping on-ramps for the win. On the stock 19 Rays. Winter I have the Blizzak LM-60's like others have said. Mounted on 18's, 255 square setup. Driven in rain, snow, and even a small monsoon (at least it felt like it) and never a hiccup or a hitch. For reference I use Tirerack. A set of new Michelin SS is $1,200 I got 4 18" A7 rims in black mounted with the Blizzaks and TPMS for $1,800. If you switch every 6 months both sets should last you 4 years, so thats like $675 a year or 3k up front. Not bad if you DD and want an optimal setup IMO |
