Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus is another good option for all season.

i was looking at the continentals but the local tire shop that is in cahoots with the base says he cant order them

The next better so they say are the B/F g-force then the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus.

^ myaeger18 how was your experience on the Michelin's?

I don't have the A/S Michelin Pilot Sport, but the very rare times I drive mine in the winter, it's fine. I'd never even chance it in snow though, but in rain they're great, so i'd imagine the A/S are pretty decent.

I'm surprised no one has said the Blizzaks yet. I have yet to ride on em, but for years i've been reading only good things about them on our car and in general.

Also, check tirerack.com for prices and ordering.

Tirerack is a forum sponsor, plus they won't hassle you about your purchase.

*edit* to order tires, use the banner link on the forum home page. It is right under the Wheels and Tires heading in the Tech Area and looks like this:

Welcome to the cold New England buddy! Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 gets the best review from what I know. My advise is to get a winter beater if you can. Because the snow here can get really nasty sometimes. Your 370 will be a snow plow and take the beat from ice blocks or salt on the road. But if you have to run snow tires, check out this thread. It has everything you need to know and the OP is from New England too. Good luck!

A/S+ are GREAT tires, if I buy all seasons again I'll buy michelin's new A/S 3 or whatever. Cheaper than A/S+S too

I went with the Bridgestone Potenza 970as tires. Overall, I am happy with these tires. They don't offer quite as much grip as a summer tire, but make up for it with the flexibility they offer to drive the car year round, hydroplaning resistence, and improved tire wear. I have a 4X4 that I drive in the winter since I don't want to expose my car to salt, but if I have the car out on a nice winter day and the weather changes quickly, I know that I will at least have a chance to get home if it starts to snow.

just get blizzaks on 1 set of rims and have your summer fun tires on another. makes the z really fun to drive in the snow..then when spring rolls around throw on the summer tires and it's like driving a whole different car.

Yup. This is what I would do if the z was my dd.

Remember that all season is all compromise. If you must go with A/S for storage/cost reasons, we like the Continental DWS, we've literally installed 100s of sets of these over the years. I hear the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S are good but don't have any hard data on it.

Thanks for all the advise everyone. I am now more prepared when I go back to the tire shop in going there tomorrow for the final talk on what i want. I don't plan on driving it in salty conditions but I will if I have too. Just waiting to save up alittle more for a car for my wife so I can use her car as a dd/ winter car.
