think you need to look at the top of page 5 and read through every other page too, theres several meets at the end of this month. and i believe one next month

I didn't think it would be good to keep updating the first post because:
- I don't wanna keep deleting old Meets and updating with new ones. I think it would be good to leave the old ones up so people can see an chronological order these events took place. Also be able to search them on facebook or google and check out the coverage if interested.

my bad bout that then. also, i made a thread linking to the Importgram's Swing into Spring Meet in the section. it's this sunday.

best to update everything on the first page/post. not many think to scroll through all the pages to see if there's more updated info, including myself

I mean, it's common sense that the last page will contain the latest events. No ? Scroll back up on the same last page that he/she it may be checking at the moment. Take notes of what may interest him/her and that's it.
The first pages/posts be for those that are really bored and has nothing to do with his/her time and really wanna dig up on what they probably missed out and search for the coverage on google facebook whatever comfort them the most. ha haha.

it's the same concept as when there's a part-out sell thread. you don't want to scroll through all the pages to see if the person lowered prices or sold any parts. it's much easier when the person updates prices and lists which parts are pending/sold on the OP. doesn't take much effort vs having everyone wasting time scrolling through pages n pages

Ideally the last page has the latest events but then people comment and talk and yell and complain and poop then the event tomorrow is on page 5 and an event in a week is on page 3 and were up to page 12 and people don't show up

He's right though. Its pretty common for people to update the first post with new events and lists.

How about this, use the first post for up comming events and attendance lists and the second post for past events so people still have a reference guide to find older stuff for pics and what not? Still just a suggestion, your thread, you do what you want.

All you have to do is keep adding events tot he first post. If they are past who cares leave them up. If people can't figure out what day it is they shouldnt be driving anyway :tup:

Again, I could get the link because I was on my computer. But most of the times I post from my phone so I can't get a link. Meaning I will not always have a link posted.
Hope you guys just didn't contribute with the format of this thread but that you guys actually quit just driving around L.I. And come out to meets outside of L.I as well. Would be nice to get a caravan to some where distant some time. ;-)
