2013 Foxwoods Run
 

I have been a member here for a little bit, but I never post. I would just like to spread the word about a meet we are trying to put together for the spring.

The holidays in our rearview, it is never too early to start thinking about enjoying our projects. I have organized a few meets in the past (including one prior run to this Connecticut casino) and I am really hoping we can make this one the best. As we all know, Mother Nature can be a fickle bitch when it comes to warming up the States of New England, so I am thinking a date in April will be far enough out that the cold and snow has left for the year and the warmer temperatures start to embrace us.

This is an extremely informal gathering - just a nice opportunity to meet up with likeminded enthusiasts and cruise to a fun, central venue. I am hoping we can attract enthusiasts from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and maybe even Vermont and Maine. (If I remember correctly, we had four or five States represented the last time we did this.)

I believe it would be a good idea to establish a few "caravan locations" so we can meet up and cruise together as a group, then link up at the casino, hang out, take some pictures, put some forum usernames to faces, then maybe grab a bite, gamble, and do whatever from there... :)

The more the merrier. I have this posted on the G forum (Here), as well. However, this does not have to be limited to Zs and Gs. If you are a member of any other forums and wish to cross-post or know anyone who may be interested, please feel free to spread the word.

This can only happen if we get a decent group. (It may not be worthwhile if only three people express interest. :ugh:) So, to get an idea of who may be interested, please add your name to the list. You do not have to be 100%, but please only add your name if you are fairly certain that you can attend. Thanks...

I'm down to go. I can just meet everyone up here since I live like 20mins away. Or if the caravan gets gas somewhere south I can meet there. Im kinda new to the area so im inching to go to a meet up here.

Just got new michelin pilot super sports mounted today 265 front 295 rear. Exciting!!!

I plan to leave Concord, MA, 01742 at 9AM on Saturday to head down to the Braintree Meeting point.

If anyone wants to meet in the general area where route 2 meets I-95 just shoot me a PM!

It would also be great to swap cell numbers with a few members who are going.

I will also be doing a little car detailing early morning if anyone wants to come over and bum some of my supplies then thats fine...

I apologize for not updating this thread. I have had a difficult few days. I do not think I am going to be able to make it to the meet I have been planning since January. :mad:
