Here are a few older installs 97 Volvo 850. It was probably one of the more easier installs I have done. Here are some picks of the install.

This one was a big one I will quote his review so you can read it.
So Matt helped me install a kickass system in my 2008 Accord. It took a couple of days and a lot of driving but it was definitely worth it. Matt is a chill guy and we got along well right from the start. I pulled into his driveway on Saturday morning a little before 8am and he had all of his tools and supplies laid out and ready to go. We installed: JL C5-650 components in front JL C5-650x coaxials in rear JL Slash 300/4v2 amp Infinity 10" Basslink JL CleanSweep MTX Re-Q Dynamat Xtreme on floor, doors, rear deck and under back seat We started off by stripping the interior of the car: http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00942s.jpg Then we jumped right into laying down the Dynamat .. here is the passenger's-side floor: http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00949s.jpg Door before Dynamat http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00954s.jpg Door after Dynamat http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00967s.jpg Fuse holder mounted http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00979s.jpg Cleansweep wired up, not yet secured http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00989s.jpg Amp being wired up http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00988s.jpg One of the rear crossovers mounted http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00987s.jpg Finished!! http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00993s.jpg http://3rror.org/nkimages/audio/smaller/DSC00994s.jpg Overall it took us about 25 hours spread out over 4 days (with breaks and stuff). Matt made the two and a half hour drive up to my place twice without hesitation. He did great work and I learned a lot along the way .. if you need any car audio stuff done, contact matt (AIM reimermatt), you won't regret it. |
Here is my friends car that I did

Questions? This is your go to guy!
I cant recommend Matt enough. I started off having a few questions, and he answered them without hesitation. Im suprised how patient he was with me, since im a total newb. He explained everything from OHM, RMS, bridging, wiring, etc. Its obvious, he has a lot of experience under his belt and he know his stuff. He is more than willing to help. Any questions on installations, well this is your guy! Also take a look at some of his previous work at the other forums, and they look pretty solid. Thanks again Matt!

Revo Sys 7 double din DVD/Carputer
Install any one of these in a 350/370Z? Is this system sound good or best for a carputer?
Are 5.1 surrond systems in cars over-rated? |
Quote:
Yes 5.1 systems are way overrated in a car there is no reason for them. Plus true Sound Quality setups are just front speakers and a sub or 2. And even putting one in a Z would completely be pointless there is no acoustic room for a surround effect in that car. Also when is someone going to sit in there car and watch a entire dvd? I mean I see no reason to have 5.1 surround sound in a car. Not telling you that it can not be done but it is not cheap and not easy to setup either. |
Did this one a few years ago but the guy was getting ready to sell it so I snapped some pics.
Here is an older install I did it was about 2 years ago. The car was a 96 Vw Jetta it was my 3rd time doing head rest tvs it was very tricky and still is to me lol. But here are some picks. Front Doors http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/r...a/IMG_5280.jpg Head units "didn't do the fiberglass but and getting ready to learn it" http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/r...a/IMG_5282.jpg Rear tv's http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/r...a/IMG_5289.jpg http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/r...a/IMG_5286.jpg Rear Deck infinitys don't ask me why he wanted them in the back and the polks in the front. http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/r...a/IMG_5303.jpg Cd changer http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/r...a/IMG_5276.jpg It also had 2 hifoinic amps mounted to the rear seats and the wires tucked threw the seat itself. There was also a box with 2 kikcer l5's. It was nice to bad I did not get picks of them. |

Matt, I really like how well organized you are for your installs. It shows attention to detail which any customer wants to see. Your installs prove you know your sh*T, but IMHO you really gotta work on your builds. Nothing like a CLEAN install/build to compliment the brains it takes to properly install and "calibrate" a system ya know. Aesthetically, it leaves a little to be desired. SQ is where I'm sure you make that up though.
