Can not remember off the top of my head. I know I measured the width of the opening and subtracted about a 1/2 inch

thanks... but by the look of that pic... dont think my amps will fit like that... due to the JL jx360/4 and 500/1 slash 2 are bigger....

I visited Matt over the weekend to have my Kenwood double DIN installed, as well as JL component speakers for my 370. The job was done in a few hours and I left very happy that I decided to hit him up instead of a local stereo shop. Matt's prices are fair and on top of that, he's a personable guy that knows his stuff. I'll be giving him my repeat business for future projects.

installed a double DIN DVD/Garmin unit in the Porsche and mounted the antenna as well as bluetooth mic. Yay for lilaudiofanat(me).

Another 370z this one was revisited for upgrades

Custom speaker pods

Made the rings

Pulled the carpet off the panels

Started finding the right angle to mout the rings.

Starting to epoxy the supports

Will be installed a little later. I stuffed a little bit of poly fill to help keep vibration down. Keep in mind that I am by no means an expert and wrapping fabric!!! I know there is a bit of overlay behind the speaker.

Last year I worked on a members z and put the fallowing in:

Kenwood 9980 head unit
JBL MS8
Hertz Mile speakers
Hertz sub
Audison 5.1K amp

The owner wanted even more sound so I came back this week to do "stage 2"

You have already seen this thread for the speaker pods I made.

Now he is the rest.

Added:

Focal FPS 21160 amp
Hertz Hi-Energy coaxial speakers"rears"
Kinetick KHC140 battery
Kicker 0 gauge battery
Stinger fans

Second battery added checking charging.

Because there are two amps and fans, I decided to run a relay coming off the remote output of the MS8.

Few pictures of the amps and powered on.
