I think what may have helped my cause was they found a TSB on this axle click issue on Armadas. The tech said it has been a common problem on several cars in their lineup actually. The notes say they pulled both back axles and molykoted the bearing face.

Question for anyone in here with exhausts. I'm thinking of picking one up and wanted to see if you had any recommendations for shops to have it installed.

No need to worry about the shop. It's usually 10 bolts, and as long as you have a quality exhaust.... A monkey could line it up and bolt it on. I had mine done at Monro.

I paid $15 to a local Monroe shop to loosen all the bolts then took it home and put it on ramps and Jack stands.

Wink

I did my LTH's and the rest of the exhaust in my garage using jack stands. If you are just doing a cbe. Only need to jack the rear of the Z up.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm (in typical 370z forum fashion it seems) looking between F.I. and ARK and probably leaning toward ARK. I have jack stands and a mechanic's tool set at home so it sounds like I should be able to do it at home.

How long did it take you to get everything removed then installed again??

Did you drive the car right after install or let it sit over night??

Basically any tips would be useful.

cat-back removal is simple and quick and so it the installation on the new cat-back set-up. the only time you have difficulties is when you try and remove the cats. thats a bitch.

and i went and drove mine as fast as i could get it off the lift lol

Sweet. As of now I'm not planning on removing my cats (emissions issues) so I don't have to worry about the worry of not passing like I did with my GTI

well it's pretty loud not gonna lie lol

but i enjoy it and with windows up and highway driving in 5/6/7 gear its actually not bad at all. it's like stealthy. in high gears the exhaust note is there but its not in your face to make you think its straight.

but anything over 3500/4000 RPMS holy hell it's a monster lol at 7k+ RPMS it's literally screaming
