Most dealers are bad, probably 90-95%. Trust me I've been to a lot of dealers of all different manufacturers from sales to service.

Back when I was buying my 09 Z a salesman from Smithtown knew nothing about the car he was trying to sell me. He tried to tell me that the Sport Package was only availble for the Touring model and I had to tell him what MSRP and invoice pricing were.

Bottom line, it depends on the individual you deal with. I am glad you had a good experience, we need more good Nissan dealerships on Long Island!

Smithtown was actually a dealer who refused to let me test drive the Z when they had 5 new on the lot. Oh well every experience is different.

True, sales and service departments can be very different experiences.

Most CT dealers are down to earth and very cool, yes I have run into one two or maybe 3 bad dealers, but the 4th one is bound to be good, surprisingly the place I bought my Z from in NJ was given bad reviews by other members here, but I had one of the best buying experiences, so I think it sometimes depends on the individual as well. If you are pleasant, calm, and collected, you should have a good experience, even if the dealer annoys you. But if you start throwing a fit, and get worked up about it,....well you are bound to have a bad time.
